Images of a Survivor

I've signed up to IPH (I Picture Hope) because a good friend, told me about it.  It is an international network of professional photographers, makeup artists, and stylists who work together to offer free photo sessions to women who are fighting or surviving breast cancer. I was a little nervous, since this a group of really good, professional photographers, doing really serious work.  Well shortly after I signed up I got a message that there was a person in Edmonton looking for a photographer.  I got in touch with Jo the next day, and setup a little portrait session.  I was very nervous, to say the least.  I could write a whole essay about Jo, but really it wouldn't be enough.  She is an inspiration.  Battling and winning, cancer, her attitude is uplifting, and infectious.  Everyone in studio was smiling and laughing.  Great times.  I was given permission by Jo, to post some images on this blog.  If you are a photographer, a make up artist, or a stylist, and would like to help a great organization, go to their Facebook page and sign up: I Picture Hope.
