When I was growing up the International Women's Day was always celebrated with flowers. We girls would get a bloom from men that represented the acknowledgement of the role we played in their life. That role have not changed much over the past decades. We are still mothers, partners, keepers of the hearth, givers of life, nurturing and looking after our homes, families and friends whether we have a regular career, or work as stay at home moms. Some might say that a flower means nothing and I agree, because it is the attitude towards us that is important. But we need to start somewhere, right?! So let me share the flowers I got with all of you wonderful women out there in celebration of us. Hope they bring you a smile :) Kasia
