Winter Patterns

Although it is March, winter here in Edmonton doesn't show any signs of leaving. It was -20C on the weekend, with a nice 40-60km/h wind. I did go out to see if I can get some cool shots snow drifts. After almost getting stuck a couple of times, I gave up the adventure, and concentrated my efforts close to home, namely my backyard. The wind had been creating interesting patterns in the snow. I had to stand on a chair to give this more of a birds eye view. Almost got blown off a couple of times. Just so you can enjoy the final effect.
