Last September (I simply cannot believe it has been a year already!!) we went for a drive in and around Elk Island NP one lovely evening. We were lucky to encounter some bison as well as a few other animals, but the best part was watching all the colors being displayed in gorgeous sunshine. It is always such a feast for one’s eyes! It’s almost, as if Mother Nature gave us the beautiful colors to enjoy before it is all gone, in preparation for the monochrome of winter. Here is a selection of shots from that outing. Enjoy!
