It’s almost spring, but it will be a while yet, here on the Alberta prairies before we see anything blooming. Thus, I thought, a bit of color will do us all good!

Pink is not my favorite color normally, but when it is natural it is quite lovely. I use the term “pink” loosely here, without getting into detailed names for shades and variations ;D. Interestingly enough, it seems like a lot of wild plants around here bloom in shades of pink, mostly so it is easily found during spring and summer months. Now, however it is gone and we will have to wait a bit before seeing it again in nature.. Thus, I bid you to enjoy looking at these lovelies!
