There is one little thing I really love when it comes to winter.  Sunrises. They are late.  Which mean I can sleep longer and still catch them.  This is exactly what happened here.  The previous day, the weatherman was forecasting clouds, and more clouds.  It seemed like one of those beautiful Alberta sunrises was going to be a bust.  Kasia wanted to try out my old micro 4/3 camera, but it looked like she would have to wait.  Walk up the next morning to an amazing sky.  Brutally shook Kasia out of bed, we quickly grabbed our Panasonic GF1 and G1, a couple of lenses, and off we went.  Luckily we didn't have to travel far, and decided for more an industrial type setting of the refineries across the river.  The light show did not last long... maybe 15-20 minutes, but what I light show that was.  Enjoy!
