Being a fly on the wall in California

I love observing people.  Specially when they do not know they are being observed.  Yes, it's a little voyeuristic of me, but people are fun in their natural environment.  No posing, no artificial smiles, just pure humanity at it's best.  Most of these shots were done during our outing in Santa Monica, and some at Disneyland.  It was fun shooting those.  I find that having a long zoom for these works best.  One can be pretty far away, to be noticed.  Enjoy.

This guy was all over the park by the Santa Monica beach.  He was just moving from place to place, and dancing away his little routine.  Quite interesting display.

Darkness

A few weeks ago I had a photo session with one of my coworkers.  It was a short session, and I'll be posting more shots from it, a little later, but today I have two that I was playing with last night.  I wanted them to be a little dark, and brooding..... and here they are. Enjoy!

Sailing on the Great Slave Lake – The Portraits Part Two

Yep, we even had a band on the lovely sailing boat.  There is nothing better than sailing and having two very talented musician provide a perfect balance of guitars and voice to a perfect day.  Huge thanks to Amanda and Melvin for making an already perfect day, even more perfect.  Of course huge thanks to Michele and Jeremy for taking us out on this wonderful cruise.
