One early summer night I wanted to go out to Elk Island for some nighttime photography. I wanted to shoot Milky Way, despite of the fact that one has to wait a long time for the sky to darken sufficiently. Imagine our surprise when instead of stars we saw a lovely display of northern lights. Well, I wasn’t about to cry about it, would you? I took the opportunity and came back with a few lovely shots.
