I’ve always loved shooting macros, but this year the ability to go out to take pictures of colorful, sparkly things has become my sanity. It’s been a crazy time for all of us. I’m sure others have found different ways of dealing with the stress and annoyances of our current situation but for me, there is nothing better than getting up early in the morning, or going out in the early evening and taking pictures. Our winter was very long this year. Cold temperatures and, frankly, miserable weather has prevented me from enjoying the outdoors for a long time, so when I was finally able to escape the house and find a bit of greenery, I was lost. ;D You’d think green stuff is boring. After all everything turns green at some point, but one can still find creative ways to shoot eye pleasing images. Here is a sample of what I was able to come up with. Enjoy!
