Or how ever you want to spell that :) I'm not picky. Beautiful warm spring weather lead to a decision to cook our supper on the fire pit in the back yard. Kids were very excited, because that usually means marshmallows
Summer is slowly winding up. Fall colors are starting to show up here and there and it makes me reflect on what has been happening this year so far. One of the pleasures of warmer weather, for me, is the ease of traveling. It is so good to take a trip to the mountains
We all love watching northern lights. Even when they are week, we will strain our eyes and stare at the night sky to see them. The best viewing is, of course, outside the city, where there is no light pollution and the sky is dark. Cities are, generally, not the best places to watch them. However, there are nights, when the lights are very bright and quite easily viewable even inside Edmonton.
It is macro time again! So happy to be able to take my camera for a couple of minutes here and there to capture some summer flowers or play with light and shadow to create some magical abstracts.
I’m sure most of us have weeks that don’t go as planned. Disappointments, problems, stress are quite familiar to most of us and we all have different ways of dealing with them. For me, the best way to handle things like that is to go out of the city and spend a couple of hours shooting.
The summer is in full swing now. We are all enjoying wonderful colors surrounding us wherever we go. I still remember, though, all the spring months, when I was impatiently awaiting this to happen. Being short of time, I really appreciated the rare moments when we could escape the city for a couple of hours and visit Elk Island National Park
