Weekend Fun

Mac here...  I have been a little silent on the blog lately, as a week ago, we got a new addition to the family.  He's a rescue german shepherd, lab cross puppy.  He's almost 3 months now, and for the last week or so, has been taking practically all of my attention.   As you know, we have rescued 2 little kittens about a year ago, and now with the puppy it a full house.  It took the cats about a week to figure out the dog, they are still cautious, but I think they figured out who is the king.  So today I took my camera for the first time in a week, shot some playtime in the yard.  I have to say, the dog is persistent :)

Playing on the farm - Part 2

Continuing on the post from yesterday, here is the rest of the photos from the family photo session.  It was really a wonderful time, even when the kids got bored with all the cameras clicking away.  One thing I found is that as a photographer, I have to really pay attention, because moments go by very quick and I have to be ready to catch them.  Enjoy.

Playing on the farm - Part 1

Families that plays together, stays together as they say.  I had a honor to capture such family recently.  We drove down to Vegreville, as my buddy Randy Pond, knows of a little quiet farm on the outskirts of town that was a perfect location for the photo session.  Since I never like posing portraits, I let the 3 girls run around and just play, then invited the parents to join in the fun.  Here are the results. Enjoy.

Games we play

I had this idea for a while now. Wanted to capture different emotions while playing video games. Big thanks to my brother and my nephew for being great models for this series. This was shot with one off camera flash through a diffusing umbrella, then converted to b&w in Photoshop. Enjoy!
