Continuing the post from yesterday, at one point we were visited by a old male bison, that decided to take a drink from the lake at the spot we were shooting. We had to quickly fold down the lights and move away from the area. Those big creatures seem slow and lumbering, but not when they feel threatened. We just watched him as he moved slowly into the lake, probably to cool off. So here are more shots from that wonderful weekend. Enjoy!
Wonders of Nature - Part 1
Couple of weeks ago, Randy Pond invited me to a little photo session at the Elk Island National Park. We met up with Renee Robyn, and Jena Skye, both very talented models. We were also joined by millions of blood sucking mosquitoes . Over all the shoot went quite well, and everyone was wearing a new perfume called "Off". Enjoy!

Canon Fest? Yes, a real Canon Fest. Well at least that what me and my two friends called it. Me, Randy Pond, Travis Forsyth and Jenn Townsend-Plant decided to create a a first in Edmonton, Canon Fest. Travis actually came all the way from Saskatoon, Saskatchewan to join our little get together. Since we all are happy Canon DSLR users, we organized some aspiring models and hit the town. If you never been to Legoland California, then I definitely recommend it. My kids actually liked it a lot better than Disneyland, even though it's a lot smaller. It is more interactive, and the area where the major US cities are recreated out of legos, is spectacular. Here is the first part of Legoland. Enjoy.

Ashley and Danni Part 1
Back from vacation, and playing catch up at work. I got tons of pictures to go through, and hopefully some will be blog worthy. This will take some time though. So to keep the blog rolling here are some shots from an interesting photo shoot setup by my good friend Randy Pond (a very cool photographer) . Randy lined up two great models and a few photographers, and we went to town.... literally. We got chased away from a couple of building locations by security, and even at one point were threatened that our "film" will be confiscated. We all had a good laugh about that.
